Lexeme wasn't there anymore but there was a new bbq place that was impressively good, like I'm from Texas so I'm picky about my bbq but this was a little honey hole in Elkton

This was our second winery on our excursion off of Hwy 38. The other two being River’s Edge and Bradley Vineyard. Monja Hudson-Desmeules, who is one of the wine makers, served the wine. The wines were delicious. Monja is very knowledgeable and friendly and we learned a lot about the area and the wines. Monja is from the French part of Switzerland and I could not help but ask about the wines of the region. Apparently Chasselas is a dominant variety in that region and the wine is often paired with fondue. She has a few vines planted and hopefully she will turn some into wine for all to taste.

A must visit! All their wines are well crafted and wonderful. We especially love their Gamay wines and Pinot Noir. These winemakers are definitely making their mark in the Umpqua Valley.

The wines from this place are absolutely delicious. They are well-balanced and lots of different types, so something for everyone. The host is the wine maker, so she shared lots of first hand knowledge!

Not only were the wines delicious, we really enjoyed the time chatting with the winemaker about Swiss wines and wine from Elkton. A very memorable and nice experience. I highly recommended going to this tasting room!
