Beautiful venue, wonderful staff. The owners are awesome. The food far exceeded expectations. Our wedding day really couldn't have went any better. Highly recommend.

Brides beware! I would not recommend this venue to anyone and highly encourage you to find another venue if you are even considering it. Although the place is pretty, the owner is the worst person on the planet and has the worst customer service.. he isn't afraid to yell at anyone including the bride and groom on their wedding day. I actually witnessed him yell and cuss at the groom when it should be the happiest day of someone's life with no drama. It's so bad I heard the staff say they were worried about getting yelled at and also watched the son have to correct his dad's behavior and tell his father (the owner) that we were customers and he needed to be nicer and not yell at people during a separate time at the rehearsal.
If you choose to go against this advice and end up booking this space, be careful because the inside event space is setup horribly for audio. No one can hear speeches or anyone trying to talk, even with audio equipment setup. They also make you use their decorator who gets overwhelmed easily and asks the bridal party for help (even though you are paying for the service). Lastly, be cautious because you will get conflicting information from the owners son, the decorator and the owner, and in turn yelled at.
I cannot stress this enough, do not book this venue or recommend this place to anyone. I will never come back to this venue.

This venue really is STUNNING for a very private, picturesque event. The landscape is manicured to perfection. The building is really a terrific size and layout for an intimate event.. large enough for room for everyone but still small enough to provide picture-perfect spots. We attended a wedding yesterday and was truly blown away by the setting. There was plenty of parking too and the grounds were immaculate. There were a few downsides just to be aware of... any dusk event may have bugs so come armed with bug spray or repellant (just be aware) and it's very easy to miss the small opening at the driveway entrance ~ don't blink or you'll drive right by it! Plus, it can be a bit unclear as to where a guest should enter ..... so when booking, you may want to bring signage or something for clear directions of foot traffic. The food we had was also truly amazing (not sure if the venue limits to certain caterers). Just be aware, the proprietors are on high alert to take good care of the grounds and facility - so keep kids in tow or else they will get an earful (Even well behaved children). This level of attention to detail won't go unnoticed or unappreciated though! It's a truly beautiful space!! I'd use it and recommend if needing a venue close-ish to Eugene. 5 Stars!!

We recently had my son's wedding reception at Deep Woods. Everything was just excellent! The venue is very beautiful and is a fantastic indoor/outdoor venue. Charlie (the owner) couldn't have been more helpful before and during the event. We used their catering service (required) as well as Heather Ortis at Event Design and Rentals. Everything was excellent! The food was so amazing and Heather was a joy to work with. Highly recommended!!!

This is a beautiful venue for any event! Outside and inside amenities. Great for an indoor or outdoor wedding and reception. Family ran and built by their hands. Indoor kitchen, restrooms, lots of room both indoor and outdoor, open bar option, vaulted ceilings with wood beams and forest setting. It's a gem!
Just a little note to the future reservation party, keep the doors inside closed on a 100° day. It's not the owners job to close doors behind your guests throughout your event.
